The Kita Hybrid is ideal for big days in any conditions, on all types of terrain. The gold standard premium all-mountain boot in Nidecker's line, it’s packed with technical features, made for shredding first lift ‘til last. Kita Hybrid uses traditional laces. They’re beloved because of their reliability and simplicity, with precision coming from that morning ritual of getting each eyelet perfectly tightened. Their brand new Speed Hook locks in the tension in the lower part once you’ve got it exactly where you want it. On Kita Hybrid, they used their Internal Heel Lock technology for ultimate heelhold. A turn of the side BOA tightens the internal harness in three dimensions - interior, exterior and from above, lowering both sides of the tongue downwards and preventing heel lift. The modern design is inspired by space, polar and mountain expeditions. Most of the components are welded rather than sewn to the upper, giving it a unique seamless build that ups the waterproofing & durability to new levels. They’ve added a tough TPU shield around the front called ArmorTech, to protect your toes when billygoating. Underneath, they used their Vibram Approach outsole to improve traction on cold and icy surfaces, with two EVA inserts for dampening. The whole outsole then connects to the Exo Spine seamlessly, eliminating exposed edges at the back. With a top-of-the-line, heat moldable Wrap-style Asym Gold Liner inside, comfort and support is guaranteed out of the box, and there’s a really consistent flex for superlative performance. The Kita Hybrid is built to charge, hard. Durable, rugged performance is the name of the game, perfect for riders who want to shred the whole mountain without compromise.

- Ready for anything, designed to withstand. H4 resists impact from the most demanding rider.
- With the BOA Dial on the tongue you will tighten the very top laces and the external wings, which provide a diagonal downward force by folding in and mechanically prevent the heel from coming up. Then the BOA dial on the side tightens the lower part of the boot.
- An advanced anatomical shape in comfortable EVA with high-density EVA supporting the deep heel cup and arch, and special high-rebound EVA cushioning the heel. A silicone top-print adds traction to the fleece-lined footbed.
- Wrap-style asym shape for no pressure points, better flex control and easy on/off. The Custom Flex Zone gives your toes wiggle room for warmth. Uses extra PU for lateral stiffness and efficient power transfer between liner and shell.
- Nidecker's top-of-the-range outsole comes with a full EVA midsole for the best possible comfort under the whole foot. An OC-Kush insert gives excellent dampening under the heel. The highlight is the new Vibram ICE-TREK compound, which is the best rubber available for cold, icey or snowy surfaces. Extra grip at toe and heel was inspired by fish scales.
